Manage your subscription and billing
Upgrade to Pro, open billing management, stop renewal, and check a payment that has not yet appeared in the app.
Start from Oudden’s settings → Plans & Billing. Billing actions open in your browser. Use the Oudden account whose subscription you want to manage; check its email in Account if you are unsure.
Upgrade to Pro
- In Plans & Billing, choose an available monthly or yearly option.
- Check the price and billing period, then select Upgrade to Oudden Pro.
- On the payment page, review the final amount, taxes if shown, and renewal terms before confirming payment.
- Return to Oudden and wait for the plan status to refresh.
A completion page in the browser is not the same as the app having received the updated plan. Check the current plan in Oudden before relying on AI access. Current offers are shown in the app and on the Pricing page.
Open billing management
Select Manage billing in Plans & Billing when the action is available. The browser opens your billing portal, where you can view payment history and invoices, manage the payment method, and cancel renewal.
Open the portal from Oudden each time rather than bookmarking its temporary address. If the link expires, return to the app and open a new one. Do not share a billing-management link with other people.
Stop subscription renewal
- Open Manage billing from Oudden.
- Find the current subscription in the portal and choose its cancellation action.
- Read the effective date and confirm the change.
- Return to Oudden and check the refreshed subscription status.
For a cancellation scheduled at the end of the paid period, access continues until the displayed end date. Cancelling renewal is not the same as requesting a refund. For a payment dispute or refund question, contact support.
Signing out, resetting local data, or uninstalling Oudden does not cancel renewal. Manage the subscription through billing even if you no longer use the app on this computer.
When Pro access ends
AI note generation and chat require active Pro access and an available allowance. When paid access ends, you can continue using the free features: local voice input and transcription, manual notes, and search.
Subscription cancellation is not a command to delete your notes. For deliberate data removal, use Storage and deletion.
Payment went through, but Pro is missing
- Check that Oudden is signed into the account you used to start payment.
- Return to Plans & Billing with an internet connection and allow the automatic status check to finish.
- If Check status is shown, select it and read the result.
- If the payment is confirmed but the plan is still wrong, contact support before paying again.
Keep the payment confirmation for support. Include your account email, the approximate payment time, the plan you expected, and the error text. Do not send full card details, sign-in codes, or billing portal links.
Other billing problems
- The payment or portal page does not open: check your connection and default browser, then retry from Oudden.
- The billing profile is not ready: use the retry action or check status; contact support if the message remains.
- Prices or billing are unavailable: follow the displayed error and retry later. An unavailable screen does not by itself mean that a subscription ended.
- There is a payment issue: open Manage billing, review the payment method and subscription status, and follow the portal instructions.
- Pro is active but AI is unavailable: check the AI allowance and the error for that action.
