Get to know Oudden
Find your notes, record a meeting, use voice input, and choose where to search or ask AI.
Start with the task you need. You can write a note yourself, turn a recording into text, or dictate into another app. You do not need to use every part of Oudden to get started.
Home
Home is a starting point for your work. Use New note to open a document for your own text or a meeting recording. If you connect a calendar, you can also work from upcoming meetings. Opening a meeting note does not start recording.
For a first try, follow Install and get started. Calendar connection can wait until you need it.
Your notes
Keep meeting results, project details, and your own writing in notes. Use headings, lists, checklists, tables, and other editor blocks to make the material useful. Notes are saved as you work; pay attention to a save warning if one appears.
Organize notes in folders and nested folders, or use search when you remember a word from the content. Create a note, organize folders, or export a copy.
Meeting recording and voice input
Choose the action that matches your task:

Voice input delivers text to another app and can keep a local history. A meeting is recorded inside a note. These are separate ways of using speech.
Transcripts and AI notes
The Transcript contains the recognized words from a meeting or imported file. A note is the document you write or edit. You can switch between these views in the same note.
Generate note uses AI to turn the completed transcript into structured results using a template. It is a separate action: stopping recording does not automatically create those results.
Local transcription is free. AI generation needs Pro, a connection, and an available AI allowance. You can write and edit notes manually without using AI.
Search and AI chat
Use Search in the sidebar when you want to find a note or a passage. It searches titles, note text, and completed transcripts.
Use the chat inside a note to ask about that discussion, or the Chat section for questions across your materials. AI can also propose changes or a new note; review the proposal before applying it.

Settings
Open the app’s settings when you want to change how it behaves:
- Account and Plans & Billing: your profile, sign-in, and subscription.
- Preferences: interface language and appearance.
- Voice Input and Hotkeys: activation, preview, and text insertion.
- Transcription: the language you speak.
- Privacy & Data: permissions, voice input history, and audio retention.
- System: your app version and updates.
